In recent years, rollover accidents have become more significant in number. Computer modeling is becoming more widely used for the reconstruction of rollover accidents. This study focuses on the modeling of an actual rollover event in which the occupant was ejected. A combination of two computer programs is made use of: PC Crash is used to determine the vehicle motion and MADYMO is used to determine the occupant motion. Finally, the vehicle motion and the occupant motion models are combined. The resulting model is able to produce videos of the actual simulations for further analysis and demonstrative purposes. The resulting model is also compared to documented evidence from the accident scene.
