The use of advanced driver assistance systems not only contributes to accident prevention it also serves to reduce the consequences of accidents. Advanced driver assistance systems could become a considerable criterion of choice for customers purchasing a car, if they are informed about the advantages of these systems for safety. In the middle-term this would result in a more accelerated and more extensive integration of modern driving assistance systems in vehicles. By inspecting saftety relevant electronically controlled driving systems by PTI’s it can not only be ensured that the initial security level of the vehicle is maintained, but it can also be avoided that these systems are object to errors, deterioration, removal or manipulation.
