For the first time Denmark has made investigation concerning all fatal traffic accidents. The purpose of the investigation is to gain more knowledge of fatal accidents to use for accident reduction and prevention. These investigations are made as a corporation between police, road authorities and reconstructionist. Data is collected to a database and to accident reports concerning every fatal accident. Data are presented in statistic yearly reports.
