Wach, W., Unarski, J.: Problems of uncertainty in time-distance analysis of pedestrian accident

Time-distance dependence with the pedestrian’s velocity

The aim of the article was to present an analysis of uncertainty of results of calculations of pre-impact phase of a pedestrian – vehicle accident. Analytical, Monte Carlo and graphic methods were discussed. A criterion was proposed to present clear conclusions regardless of input data modifications within the adopted ranges of uncertainty.
