As road accident reconstruction requires solving inverse mathematical problems, there are also different factors that could influence solutions related to the specific road accident. Obviously we use mathematical models, parameter values extracted from the secured traces of the road accident, as well as the knowledge and experience of the specific reconstructionist who performed the road accident reconstruction. Because of this, it is understandable that we would always like to verify calculated results and solutions using appropriate data completely independent of the performed process of the road accident reconstruction based on the solution of the adequate inverse mathematical problem. The fact is that in most of the cases this is not possible, because such data does not exist. However in some rare cases subsequent verification of the calculated results is possible.
