One of the most important targets in vehicle engineering is the increase of active safety, that means the improvement of the driving, steering and braking performance of the vehicles on our roads, to avoid accidents in the earliest moment.

The knowledge of the steering and braking performance of vehicles is important for the definition of the ability of a vehicle to move safely on our roads.
