edinburg2015 13aAt the EVU conference 2007 in Krakow the first findings on the moving speeds of children in the age range of 2 to 3 years were published. At that time, due to the winter season, only tests with children wearing winter clothes were arranged and statistically analysed. In this new study, for the first time, moving speeds of children wearing summer or light clothes were analysed. By means of modern high speed cameras the movement of the children was recorded and statistically analysed by computer. It is now possible to close completely the gap in the studies of Eberhardt and Himbert with regard to the moving speeds of 2 to 3 year old children.
